    Help - W202 C240 oil leak

Hi Steve, Thanks for the quick response. I don't think anything has been touched/adjusted prior to the video. I've taken a couple more pics. The oil comes from the seam between the two components. So, it's just a case of unscrewing the two parts, replace with new O ring and put back...

    Help - W202 C240 oil leak

Hi all, I hope someone can help me. My C240 has all of a sudden started to leak oil. I don't know the name of the component that is leaking so I have added a video. Judging by what you have seen, is it a minor (read cheap) fix? I wanted to get some feedback before asking a...

buying US spec W124 320CE Convertible

Wow! Your car (SL) is truly stunning... Why would you want to change it for something a little ordinary? (No offence to CE owners :)) Not that I can afford the upkeep, but do you mind me asking how much you are looking for? Alex

    Memory

It's probably due to your system sharing video memory. If you had a dedicated graphics card, the system memory would show it's full amount. Alex

    Saw a C55 today

I just saw my first C55 today on the A27 near Brighton... It was a S(?)203 in black sounding lovely and burbley, being driven (slowly) by a nice blonde lady :) Seen a few C43 estates and saloons around here, but this was my first C55 in any shape. It was also right hand drive. I thought they...

Sorry to hear of your accident bud. Shame about the car, but as long as your unhurt... On a brighter note you might be driving a facelift model soonish :)

Has anyone ever owned a reliable MB?

Mine has been fine for the most part. Only the V Belt came off and damaged another part, but the cause was my "genius" friend who thought he would spray the whole area with some sort of spray to make the belt quieter  It did work for a day until the belt came off (not broken). That was...

    Face lifting

Your exactly right. Unfortunately I can't afford a face lift model, so some original lenses sourced off the internet some where will give me the look I'm after on a budget.

    Face lifting

What happened in 02? Did the facelift model come out mid 03? Command looks much better in the facelift model and it's widescreen, right?

    Face lifting

That's exactly the reason I want to go for it. It's funny how I can now afford a W220, whilst most people still think of them as still being extremely expensive... Thank you W221 :) And they still look amazing with a nice set of shoes

    Face lifting

Really? So all the bits should just be a straight swap, including bumpers? Once I start I probably won't stop - S500 twin pipes please  It's still 2 months away so I guess I've got time for a bit more research on the subject.

    Face lifting

Thanks for the reply Jeremy, Admiral seem to be the only insurer that will insure me on an W220 under £1000, probably due to my age (22). 5 years no claim is definitely a benifit  :D Admiral gave me a quote for £700ish limited milage with a friend as a named driver which I thought...
