The fix is if your injectors are in good condition then clean the injector hole, make sure no carbon deposit falls down, fit a new copper washers and replace (cleaned injector) and that should sort the leak. This is what i was told by the mechanic....oh yeah and you would need some greese from...

hi mr .shr was the procedure straight forward? the lock on the rear passenger side has gone on my car, did you have to remove the door handle and remove rivits?

just an up date the problem wasnt the sensor it was down to the injectors. One of the injectors (number 3) was leaking as there was a build up of tar around it, so i had this cleaned and a new copper washers fitted, once this was installed the car didnt start at all. The mechanic did a injetor...

hi i have a w211 and the rear passenger side door pin bounces up and down when locking and unlocking. I have read that a spring needs replacing in the ACTUATOR? Does any one please have a picture guide as to how to replace this spring?

I just have to wait 5 mins after a journey and it would start again, so do you think its worth changing the crankshaft position sensor?

the other thing i forgot to mention was that the other day i was changing the air filter and noticed a tar like substance around one of the injectors. i thought the plastic had melted but was ok. I have just read off a forum that this is a leaking injector...can anyone confirm this?

thank you camerafodder for the speedy reply. when i had the fuel filter changed last month i did replace one of the rubber hose attaced to it as there was diesel dripping out, i shall replace the other and report back....once again thank you

Hi i have a E270 CDi W211 and after i have been on a long drive (20 mins of driving, or when the engine is hot), I turn the engine off but the car would not start after that. I have to leave it for around 10mins but then fires up no problem. can anyone help please?
