There are a number of 3rd party companies that produce fluid to MB345.0 I use Febi CHF11S, you get it from GSF, or ebay or many others. It is much cheaper than the MB stuff I believe that either CHF11s or the brand name Pentosin will get you the correct fluid.

I have changed mine twice in the last 12 years. Both times I had to go to the dealer to get the bushes. They were quite cheap, only about £6 per side I think. Also easy to change, put plenty of penetrating oil on the bolts first.

Maybe MB won't sell the bushes, but Eurocarparts will. If you still have the original rollbar, then the bushes will not be bonded, I think that happened about 2005. I got Febi ones from Eurocarparts last year for my 2002 W203, they were only about £6 each.

I've seen plumbers put Fairy Liquid on joints then look for bubbles.
