Hi. Thanks for the reply. All new HT leads & distributor cap fitted. The engine starts but won't rev up. I did manage to "feather" the throttle to get the revs up but engine keeps dying. New fuel pump & filters fitted as well. I'm really at my wits end.

Nearly finished now. Mechanicals perfect, body & paint now done. Only the interior to sort then roll on Summer.

Hi All, Just bought my very first Mercedes. It's a 350Sl. It's been standing in a garage for 10 years since the owner died. His wife had it MOT'd once then put it on SORN. Had it 2 weeks ago & started it Saturday for the first time. Had to clean out the fuel lines as they were full of gunge etc...
