Update,had the diagnostics done and sure enough it was the gear selector module. As Will and StevenN stated £374 + vat. All in + test and fitting £580 which I thought was pretty fair. All running ship shape. Cheers all!

Had a new battery installed about a month ago. Just went to try and move the car and now dont even get the gear indicator showing at all

Hi, I am hoping someone might point me in the right direction. I own a C220 CDI SPORT ESTATE W202 AUTO and its a great car but recently when I start the car the display shows no gear position. I can move the gear selector,but will move to drive and back to reverse and thats how far it goes...
