Hi guys Well the first problem with the lovely cl600 (2001) bought in August. Me thinks the water pump is on the way out as there is a lot of rattling comming from the front end , one of the belts seems to be running quite untrue and the temp is easing its way slightly higher (over the 80 mark)...

Thanks for the positive comments guys, but tell me .............what is AMG what do they do to these cars that is different? Is it factory tuning ?? or just extras. Could they be added later or as factory mods? Sorry to sound like a simpleton but as I say just bought the car for other reasons.

Guilty in not reading all the posts but one thing I really cant get my head around.......Why spend umpteen thousands on a vehicle and worry about mpg when averaging less than 50 miles a week??? In fact why have a car at all , must be cheaper and less worry using the bus or taxi over the course...

Oh my goodness I dont think I have ever read so much piffle from the original post about POWER and SPEED Life really is far too short for all of that.

Yes you are correct. The full AMG kit was specified by the original owner as an extra when purchased.
