    M104 280 engine misfire.

Hi Dave, Sounds sensible, but my problem is on cyl 1 which is not connected directly to the coil, but via a HT lead. Just been playing with it again. Started up fine, running smooth. Drove car slowly with gradual acceleration and all was OK. Then hammered it and braked quite sharply...

    M104 280 engine misfire.

UPDATE: So, we took it around the UK over XMAS and did about 1400miles in it. The problem was still there, quite bad on some days and then the next driving 400miles without a hiccup. I managed to squeeze in an appointment at Mer-Tech in Hull whilst on the way down to Dover and the STAR...

    M104 280 engine misfire.

Ill have a look at the plugs leads and coils - as I presume these are cheap enough and easy to sort myself....... Much further than that and its probably curtains for the car - I only bought her as a winter beater and its not something im going to plough 1000s or even 100s in to, to be...

    M104 280 engine misfire.

Oh no :( The poor old girl is having some troubles! 96 S280 with the M104 engine - 130k miles, last serviced with new plugs and oil about 12k miles ago looking at the invoices. Since buying her 10k miles ago she has had a very occasional stutter on warm idle - a single miss/burp and then...

    S280 -big(ish) oil leak, help!

Hi folks, First problem with my 96 S280. I noticed over the past few days that the oil pressure sometimes drops to around 2 bar on idle (not always) but its always a solid 3 bar the rest of the time. Oil consumption is about 1L every 4k miles. This morning when leaving work (engine...

Very Cheap HP printers on HP.co.uk

My replacement finally arrived yesterday and its not damaged - woo and indeed hoo. A bit miffed that HP tried to give me the run-around but they came through in the end and I still think it was worth it, given the brilliant VFM.

300 SE W126 running too cool!

No idea, sorry - if its only a clutch id imagine not. My thinking was if the fan was always running (or running too fast) it would hinder the engine heating up. Before tackling that I'd replace the thermostat. Cheap and usually extremely easy to do.

    97 S280 - thermostat help.

Hi all, Ive noticed with the recent colder weather my 97 S280 is taking longer to get warm in the morning. I get warm air through the heater almost immediately but yesterday for example (which was very cold) it took a good 10-15 mins to reach 80c. First thoughts are of course thermostat...

Very Cheap HP printers on HP.co.uk

One of mine was damaged on arrival - the glass scanner bad was smashed to pieces :( The other one is up and running and its really good - the replacement for the other should hopefully be with me by the end of the week. Thus far customer service seems good - they had the...

They also seem to do double sided prints which is quite a bonus. Ive currently got a HP all in one wireless and although its still working fine, I thought this was too big a bargain to pass up :) Although HP ink is expensive it seems to last a while, but I guess you could class me as an...
