That's good to hear. I've always worked on our own cars, but have never had the pleasure of lowering an engine. That combined with no obvious source of guidance (YT / manual write-up), makes me a bit more apprehensive taking this on. We seem to be based in a similar location :).

Thanks for the reply. Do you recall whether it's doable without lowering the engine? Any engine in/out jobs I tend to shy away from on the driveway.

The water pump has started to whine on my 2013 A250 (W176). Does anyone have a guide on how best to replace this and whether it's doable without having to jack up the engine? In addition, what recommendations are there for a high quality aftermarket manufacturer (or OEM) for a replacement water...

Thanks chaps. I'll wait to see if it clears, however I presume that an SRS 'fault' will not. In which case I'll other buy an iCarsoft or pop down to a local indie and have them clear it for me.

I had the dreaded water leak through the rear vents which flooded the carpet. Stripped the whole interior and everything is now lovely and dry again. However, I stupidly forgot to disconnect the battery prior to removing both front seats, and now have an SRS "front right / front left...

I need to replace the discs and pads on my 2013 A250 Sport. Does anyone know the correct size of brake discs? ECP lists 295mm and 320mm for the front and 276mm and 295mm for the rear. Additionally is there much difference in the quality between ATE, Pagid and Brembo? Or should I be looking...

Turns out the wires on the black plug were connected up the wrong way around by the breaker who supplied the unit to me. All sorted now :).

I received an "ESP Visit Workshop" error and a STAR diagnosis showed the Slip Ring/Contact Spiral as faulty. I purchased a used spiral (from a W209 being broken) and fitted it. ESP now works, however none of the steering wheel controls or the horn work. The part number of the old slip...
