    Intelligent lighting system not working

So I have the above message appear when scrolling through the cars lighting menu and I'm fairly positive its because the height level sensor arm is broken. I have bought the part to replace mine but I need to know its location on the car. I'm thinking it will be on or around the rear axle but...

    DPF question

The EML light came on in our E350 CDI - had the code read and it’s DPF. We’ve not been far in the car recently so we know why it’s got to this point - job change has meant hardly any long runs. Anyway our mechanic reset the code and told me to go for a long run. I gave it an energetic run but...

    Air con diagram/help

We’ve recently had the air con light go off. It’s always on auto so it’s not through lack of use. Anyway I took it to a garage and they said it’s holding pressure just fine so it may either be the compressor or the pressure switch. I have a pressure switch to fit but wondered if anyone has a...

C/207 W212 LHS Headlight washer not working

Hello Gents, Has anyone had a problem with their washer jets for the headlights? Our LHS one is not functioning and before I start pulling the front bumper off I thought I'd see if anyone has had a similar issue and sorted it? So far I've pulled the tip off it and thats soaking in limescale...

    E350 CDI - 56.5MPG!!

I have to say the OM642 does produce some shocks for me. How does something with so much torque come up with 56.5MPG at an average speed of 64MPH. I didn’t buy it to eek the last MPG out of it - that was just a clear motorway run. Not bad for a 6 year old cabriolet with 272 PS and 590 Nm.

Calling all cabriolet owners - Gummi Pflege/drain hole time

Just a reminder for the other hairdressers on here that its maintenance time for your soft tops. I highly recommend going over all the rubber seals with Gummi Pflege - its helps stop rubber freezing and contains UV filters which help prevent hardening and cracking. The product is brilliant and...

OM642 350 CDI - you should check this part out

Having recently had a slight issue of the car suffering intermittent power loss so I had it scanned at our excellent local indy STAR in Caversham. Typical that nothing came up. Anyway we thought the worst and that it could be gearbox related but Ian at STAR said it was more likely engine related...

    Seatbelt presenter / SAM issue?

Our A207's seatbelt presenter still isnt working. Fuses checked and fine, replaced the unit itself and still nothing. When we had the car in for a service the other day the guy said there was a rear SAM fault code that he removed which said a tail light was out - it wasn't. Could a rear SAM...

I have a faulty passenger side seat belt presenter. Ive so far checked the fuses, replaced the unit with a working one and still is wont work. The courtesy light switch works on the passenger side so its not related to that as some have suggested. I am now out of ideas. Anyone had this problem...
