Thanks Doodle, I was actually after a video to take off the arm rest cover and the centre console because I need to get these re-aminated. I have seen some videos showing that all you need to do is use credit cards (or something like that) but they never seem to work with my car.

Hi Can anyone suggest the best cover for a 2000 R129. I have looked at eBay, Amazon etc, and they all have generic sizes and I am concerned that the generic covers may not be as effective as a cover build specifically for the car (within a budget). Any suggestions would be grateful P

I may have to do the same but was hoping to put ot off for as long as possible. Do you have an idea of what a full respray will cost - just wanted to know how much of the childrens inheritance I will be spending!

I am also thinking about a full respray since i have a couple of knocks which need to be pulled out and also a couple of small areas of rust which i want to get treated. Do you know how much it will cost for the respray so that i can start saving!!

Can I ask whether you are doing a full respray or just a polish. It looks quite scratched up on the door handle (same as mine) and you have a bumper scuff (same as mine!). I'd be interested to know how it turns out

Slightly off topic - do you know how to repair or get a replacement button for the arm rest slider button which currently has a big hole in it! Not sure if I need the button or need the whole arm rest. Not very technical - sorry!
