Hello, so basically the previous owner fitted an LPG system to my 1982 280ce, it doesn't work very well so i've taken it all of. the LPG mixer it was fitted under here...with silicone (by the previous owner i must add) should there be a rubber seal in the indent on the bottom...

there must be age limits on this? I'm 23.....

just to add, the car will start and rev but not idle, it will die if revs are dropped to around idle speed or if its put into drive, in drive it will move a little distance, but only when revved higher than appropriate and slipped into drive. when in park it will run as long as its constantly...
