    IAT Sensor, Wire broken

If it has snapped off at the plug you can either add new terminals, (for which you will need a ratchet crimp tool) and add a new plug housing. There are quite a few places that sell housings and terminals: M-cal is just one. Either that or you could cut your loom back and solder in a...

09 C180 BlueEFFICIENCY is it any good and what sort of MPG

So far as I'm aware the C180 BlueEFFICIENCY is a 1.8 turbo. One of my good friends has one and is quite happy with it. He gets just shy of 40 to the gallon, but he drives like an old lady so I wouldn't take that as gospel. :thumb:

Pro Bitz Diesel Economy Tuning Chip E320 cdi

I've heard mixed reviews about the DTE systems, I know that's what DTUK sell in the UK. I had a look at their terms and conditions and they charge a £40 plus VAT restocking fee if you return for any reason and they only have a 14 day money back guarantee. I like the look of their green box...

Pro Bitz Diesel Economy Tuning Chip E320 cdi

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I didn't want to start a new one either. I've done a search and tried to find the info, there is plenty on tuning boxes, but I'm wondering what results people have had specifically in terms of fuel economy? I've checked out the pro bitz link at the top but...

    How does this happen?

If you go back there and there are still no signs you may very well be able to appeal the ticket. Take photos and forward them on explaining yourself.

MERCEDES BENZ ML WORKSHOP MANUAL ML 270 280 320 & 400 CDi 1998-2006 | eBay £17.49 on eBay. As its not a massively common car, workshop manuals aren't going to be hugely common either.

    The MPG thread

C350 CDI getting about 40 MPG combined and I don't usually drive like my hair is on fire nowadays. To be fair I would like to increase it if possible.

What's the worst car you've driven in high winds?

Bedford Rascal - I used to deliberately carry weight in that before crossing our viaduct because it used to like to try and be a motorcycle in even not too strong a wind!

The snow on your drive solution?

How will your car which was unable to grip before, now be able to push the snow out of the way? This looks like a really, really bad idea :/

    Replace W168 speakers

Coaxials aren't nearly as good as a decent 2 way component setup. Normally a high spec set of components will come with a crossover that you will have to bury in the door somewhere, which splits the sound between the 2. FOCAL 165 V30 6-1/2" 320W MAX LIMITED EDITION COMPONENT STEREO SPEAKERS...

    Electric windows and other stuff

The window mechanism I would try lubricating first. I had an MX5 some years ago that had windows that were much slower than winding them by hand would have been and lubricating them helped significantly. The motor may be getting a bit slow, but you'll find out if you grease it all up. It cant...

    And so this is Xmas

I've got to agree with sweetpea here, I think that the more people are miserable in the media the worse it affects things. So far as I remember we British were supposed to have a stiff upper lip and not grumble, and in times when that attitude was well upheld we had an empire on which the sun...

Anybody know about TV aerial connections?

You can get some pretty good faceplates, I have 2 at different ends of the living room depending on where the missus wants the TV on a monthly basis. They have gold plated terminals and I've got gold plated ends on the coax leads, we live in a terrible signal area and I still get great...

What did you do for the first time today?

Today I bottled my first ever batch of home brew lager, it just about counts as I've only ever made bitters before :) I just hope it turns out well because there are 40 pints of it that I'm hoping to have ready for Christmas! :)

    silly facebook

It made me laugh that in Switzerland their sign going into a "customs area" is "Spazio Doganale" (though that could just be my intense childishness) :P
