The other problem is that sometimes when checking with the camera, the transmitter signal remains lit up even when releasing the button.

As I stated before,I did all of those tests and even tested the switch. The problem is that the batteries keep getting flat. Thanks for replying:thumb:

The central locking still works and both LED'S on the rear view mirror works when locking or unlocking the car. The red LED in the remote does not light up when pressing the switch for a few seconds-this indicates weak batteries. So you are saying its most likely batteries?
