Hi, Could someone please tell me if there is a pump for the fuel,in a c250td 1997. 202.188.... By this I mean, is the fuel pumped from the tank to the injection pump in the engine bay, or does the injection pump suck the fuel from the tank, and therefore no pump needed???? I'm a little unsure...

So the senders are out, no difficulties there, even with my two left hands, and club thumbs.. I did notice one thing immediately, there are no rubber sealing gaskets.. Two have been purchased and will be installed with my new sender, better safe than sorry.. I will keep all informed..

Hi Jay, Thanks for the reply, I have changed all the washers that came with the new fuel lines, and also, the copper washer for the banjo bolt fuel line and the prefilter. Have i missed any? Where is the lift pump situated? as i guess this will be my next project. Thanks again....

I had he same issue with my c250 td, last month, The advice was to change them all, Follow that advice… I changed them all, with the engine hot, and no issues.. Worth doing as its not complicated..
