    Should I buy a C36 as a daily - Discuss :)

Is not an AMG is it. Fuel cost is not going to drop, the only way is up. So get it if you can afford it. However buying a 15 years+ old cars, bills are to be expected. The only way you might get away with bills is to be a car whore. Buy it, have your fun and sale it a few months down the...

    E350 vs S350?

Agreed. IMO if you regards driving is a chore than get the S Class. Luxury, soft ride, requires very little from the driver. I could quite easily fall asleep driving one. £20k will easily get you a well spec ed w212. But my choice will be CLS :D

    E63S to CLS63 Shooting Brake

I've test drove a 250 SB a few months ago, and I'm very impressed. There are more than enough space for family needs, there are much more rear headroom than the saloon too. My favourite current Merc. I thought CLS are generally better equipped than E Class.

    S210 - Opinions

Other than lower price and better space, S211 is a much better car than the S210. So if you can afford it get the S211. The first car is way over priced. The second one is better in the picture than expected. The third one is too high mileage and over priced IMO.

    w203 or w211 estate?

For load space E 210/211 are the best. I'm not a fan of the Early ML. Not that good the drive, higher running cost, also if you are planning to load with heavy stuff, the load floor is much higher than the estates.

    Recent models age well ?

Well if you look at Ford/Toyota etc, they look a little depressed after 5 years let alone 10 years. A Mercedes/BMW will still look and feel decent after 10 years.

A racing car for the road - Formula Ford EcoBoost

This or the BAC mono. Both are great piece of design and a great drivers car. The only time I would drive it on the road is to and from a local trackday. I used to have a Caterham, and seating in slowing moving multilane with artic's wheel at the eye level is match scarier that spinning out...

    CLS purchase advice please

The CLS is a lovely car and you won't be dissappointed. For me I would spent the extra £7k and go for a late model, especially the grand sport. Better equipped (Xenon light is standard on that and it's a must have IMO), updated Command, more power etc. Also late model cars are usually more...

For mid priced tyres Vredestein is my preferred chose. Their Ultrac Sessanta is very match universally liked.

    Disallusioned?

You always have the Friday cars from all the different companies. Also things like wheels and nuts are out sourced to different companies, so Car manufactures won't have known there is a QC problem until is a few years down the line.
