    [SOLD] 2009 W204 C63 AMG for sale - 83.6k miles

Hi folks, I'm selling my 2009 C63 saloon. I've owned it since March 2012 (11 years), and it's been regularly serviced by either Ollie at PCS or the Hampshire Service Centre, and comes with a complete Digital Service Report as well as reams of paperwork. It's a Performance Pack model (with LSD)...

NTG4 Comand hangs and reboots following V10 Nav upgrade

Hi Chrishazle... I'm not sure of the root cause. There's some info out there that implies you can apply a "Telematics" firmware update which updates the Navigation software itself, and then the newer maps will work. The problem with that is you don't just whack the Telematics disc in the car -...

NTG4 Comand hangs and reboots following V10 Nav upgrade

I’m having an episode of deja vu right now. I bought a set of the latest (V16) maps over Christmas and applied them today. After the unit rebooted, it… rebooted again… and I suddenly thought “shit, not that again!” - I’d completely forgotten about this issue I had 10 bloody years ago! And then...

    W213 rear parking sensors troubleshooting

Good shout, thanks. I’m not averse to buying one but would like to avoid shelling out £200+ if I can avoid it. I’m located in North Hampshire (RG27 postcode) if anyone’s local and generous enough to let me borrow it for 2-3 mins please.

    W213 rear parking sensors troubleshooting

An OBD fault scan doesn’t bring up any results. That said, I’m using a fairly old OBD2 Bluetooth scanner and the Torque app - which is normally good for engine-related faults. Do I need something newer/different to retrieve these type of faults?

    W213 rear parking sensors troubleshooting

The rear parking sensors of my W213 E-Class seem to have developed a fault. When you put the car in reverse all of the segments light up red and the warning beeps sound, then they don’t do anything as you reverse up to an object. They all look in good order and I’ve cleaned them all. Is there...

Detachable towbar stuck - how to remove?

Thanks for all the replies. I do understand how the mechanism on these things work, and I’m confident this isn’t/wasn’t a key issue but more of what Blobsta talks about - a very tight fit and a small amount of crud in the joint meant it wouldn’t *quite* seat before the locking pin pinged out...

    Very green at Glasto.....

Tickets are over £250 ... some of that goes towards paying for the mobile phone chargers (or maybe they're sponsored). ;)

Who has star diagnostics Edinburgh area

This section is for feedback on the MBClub forum website... "testing" refers to testing out new features on the site. My guess is not many people look in here. :) I think your question will get more views in one of the Technical sections or General.

Detachable towbar stuck - how to remove?

Hi folks, I had a Tow Trust detachable towbar fitted to my W213 Estate last summer - mainly for using with a bike carrier. The car has spent most of the time since September 2021 with it removed and the little plastic protection plug in place. I fitted it again 3 weeks ago and it was a little...

Formula 1 2022 (Will Contain Spoilers)

Having watched the video it's simple inexcusable. I've seen various Portuguese-speaking people online claim it's "not really an insult" and others (also Portuguese-speaking) arguing it absolutely is. The point is that Lewis has a name... call him Lewis, Hamilton, the Merc driver, whatever... but...

    Carplay Google Maps Screen Scrambled

Interesting, thanks for sharing. My E is now out of warranty but heading in for a service in two weeks. Do you know if they charge for this? I'd be really interested in finding out what software version mine's currently running but can't find that info anywhere in the menus.

    Best Place for MB Parts?

As well as the usual Eurocarparts and CarParts4Less I've recently used Autodoc who seem pretty good. Only thing to watch out for is that as a German outfit they often assume your car is LHD not RHD... so you need to be careful of that when ordering things like windscreen wiper sets.

    Apple Wireless Mouse

Unfortunately yes, that seems to be the case. I'm forever telling the kids to remember to switch it off when not using. I know it's not much consolation but the rechargeable devices (trackpad, keyboard, etc.) seem to last ages between charges so may be a better bet.

    Very green at Glasto.....

This probably isn't the right thread for the discussion... but those myths have been well and truly debunked. The lifetime CO2 output for an EV is typically less than a quarter that of an ICE vehicle. Some of the "reports" in the early days were produced by orgs with ties to big oil, and they...

    Spare Mercedes Key

My C63 came with only one key. I thought it was a bit steep (£200+) to get another one so went without for the first 9 months of ownership. Then one day I locked my one and only key in the boot (came out of a place, chucked coat (inc key) in boot and slammed it shut). The locksmith call-out (on...
