No, any underbody wax will be fully cures during the paint process. This is something in the drain channel. I would put a hose over the front screen and try and flush whatever it is out. If it just keeps on coming (ooo er!) then take it into MB. HTH

You'll love it (apart from the frequent fuel stops). I can definitely recommend a Eurocharge remap (extra 52bhp on my C63) and the LSD is a must if you enjoy moving the car around. Oh, and once you've got it, PICS !!!!!

That's good information, however note that the ECU will have logged this 'event' so don't be afraid to take it into MB and ask them to have a look.

Hi All, Just had a letter from MB stating there's a recall on E300s (and I would imagine E250s) for the Timing chain Tensioner. For reference, my E300 is a 64 plate.

Hi Aquanaut :thumb: Yes this was the case with mine. MB's best offer was a good £2.5k-£3k below the GFV :mad: Even more annoying that mine was definitely in excellent condition and only had 14.5k miles (as opposed to the 20k the GFV was valued at).

That's a very good result! My E300 (4 cylinder) is only slightly better. My iPhone charges fine - albeit slowly - from the USB in the central cubby storage.

Yes mine has dropped 3-4mpg over the last month.

On my E300, if I'm pootling around on Elec drive, as soon as I open the door it starts the engine :mad: As mentioned above, outside temp always displayed would be a bonus. To the other poster who wanted a sunglasses holder, my E has one under each front seat. I thought this was standard...
