    Fault Message Update Well, I've just got car back from MB... * SBC unit apparently just needed 're-setting' and should last many more years! * 'Emissions check' message also just needed re-setting. What a result...a potential bill of £1800 turned into £80 inc vat.:bannana::)

    Hi The message is NOT in red lettering, it's white. Spoke to MB stealership today and was informed that I may just need a 'software update'. These update's are normally carried out during routine service's. However, if the issue is to replace the pump, then it will cost me approx £1800.00...

    Cheers for the reply. I'll double check this in the next couple of weeks as I have just purchased an appropriate spring compressor and will check this out myself. The local garage didn't have the correct compressor and just used a transmission jack and brute force to remove / install the springs...
