Fair comment, although I would have thought bulbs may respond differently in different cars, reflectors, driving styles etc. Not much perhaps, but it would be nice to see which I prefer, which may not just be a function of light output. I am also pretty sensitive to light, I can get terrible...

I have just had a look, it has an adjuster under the headlight switch. The attached pic is exactly what it looks like. I take it that means I have halogens? Not actually sure where that puts me, does it mean I have no choice but to try the aforementioned aftermarkets like Osrams etc?
