Hi, Wondering if my C200 has a rev limiter or something wrong with ignition. When I rev upto 4250 rpm or above it sounds like a rev limiter, is this the norm or do I have probs with ignition or something? All help appreciated!

Have never needed to change calipers in the past, just a clean up and maybe a repaint usually if they are bad

Hi, Wondered if anyone could advise me as to weather I will need a caliper piston winder tool for my rear caliper when I replace disk and pads. I heard the W203 model did not need one and didnt want to waste the money if not needed?

Wright Tech in Sidcup quoted £180 for gearbox oil and atf filter change, will have to book in next week!

No lights on dash. Seems to be cold and hot same symptoms. Not sure when gearbox oil was changed so hope to do soon.

Only had the car a couple of weeks, although full history no mention of atf/filter change. Is that expensive.

Have a 1999 C200 Sport (W202 I believe), and wondered if it has a timing chain or belt, looks like a belt to me but I have heard people saying they have chains. If what I see is just a fan belt, it's a bloody big one! Any help appreciated :)
