    W124 autobox stupid question.....

Cheers for that. I feel like such a d**k for asking, I've been driving it round in 'S' and still getting 35mpg out of it, so can't be bad.

    W124 autobox stupid question.....

On a switchable autobox as fitted to a '94 W124, when's it actually IN Sport mode? With the 'S' visible or the 'E'? Stop laughing at the back. :D

Retro-Rides Gathering, Prescott Hillclimb Sunday 19th August

The black one's mine. :D If you think the Public car park was bad, you should have seen the state of the campsite! I arrived in the middle of a positively Biblical downpour on Friday afternoon and literally slid the entire length of the field down to the swamp at the bottom. I didn't bother...

Retro-Rides Gathering, Prescott Hillclimb Sunday 19th August

I just thought I'd give this a mention, seeing as there are seemingly one or two Retro-Rides members on here besides myself. 2012 will mark the fifth anniversary of 'The Gathering', which moved to its' new home at the glorious, history-steeped Prescott Hillclimb venue last year after...

One for the Pink Floyd fans...

Thanks for the heads-up on this! I remember listening to the entire album being played by Tommy Vance on BBC Radio 1's 'Friday Rock Show' in late '79. He had Roger Waters there with him, talking us through every track. Had a profound effect on this 15 year-old schoolboy, that's for sure.
