Guys I've got a 95 220 coupe and just now when I jumped on the brakes got an awful banging/rattling noise from the rear end. Got the wheels off and the brakes were fine BUT found this instead (see pics) - any ideas what's happened and what I need to do?! Thanks Mike

It is - the plastic cylindrical cover that is directly behind the steering wheel. The one that the indicator/wiper stalk comes out of

Hi all Does anyone know how to remove this please? My steering wheel squeaks, creaks and groans like crazy at anything other than the straight ahead position and so I want to investigate - I'm assuming I need to remove the shroud to do this.... All help gratefully received!

Thanks all; you were indeed correct it was a lack of coolant - so thank goodness I checked when I did!! And more importantly thank goodness you guys knew what you were talking about... Much appreciated

Hi all My 124 220 has an amber light pretty much constantly lit up on the dash - it's the furthest one along on the left hand bank of lights next to the oil lamp. I've attached a pic if anyone can tell me what it is and if I need to worry please?? Thanks!
