I recently had my brake sensor warning come on in my car, i changed the rear pads as they were very low, the light has not gone off? Can i just disconect it untill i get a chance to investigate the fault? Will this clear the fault or does it show as low pads still? Its a c270 cdi on a 2002.

Im looking at buying a diesel c 220 estate on a 2011-2013 2.1 depending on price, its for my wife who does lots of short journeys will the engine play up with this? with DPF filters or such alike? if it could become a problem would blasting down the motorway once a week solve the issue?

In my CDI 270 (02) im having a problem with the alarm most advising to change the siren unit, im just having trouble locating it. I was told it was above the nearside wheel arch but after having that off to change the head light couldnt see it:dk:. Anyone help me out?

I had a problem with my indicator recently and decided to change the the light cluster on the nearside, pretty simply to remove. But when i went to put the replacement on i realised it was different! mainly to the point of having only 1 connection point where as the original had 2. Now i tried...

Ok i pulled the plug off theres voltage at the plug but its not getting to the indicator lamp holder, is it worth stripping the light cluster down and finding the break down or am i just best to buy a second hand cluster ?

It had slight corrosion on the lamp holder but didnt seem burnt i guess i can put a tester accross it see it im getting a voltage

My c270 cdi (02) had this message on the dash " turn signal F L Substitute lamp on" and also " Turn signal F L Check Lamp". Which i assumed meant change the indicator lamp simple enough? But that didnt work so any suggestions ?

Dont suppose you can give a hint as to the location of the alarm unit i havent looked for it yet and it may be very obvious but if you know could save me some time

Where are the alarm batteries? Why would it be the siren? That has gone off a few times aswel. Ive also noticed that it brings the interior light on? could it think a door is still open? boot maybe?

I have a 02 cdi 270, After stopping after a journey i arm the alarm as usual but for some reason the hazards start to flash really quickly? They continue doing this for an unditernied amount of time then stop? if i unlock the car it stops them flashing but about 1 minute later it locks itself...
