    De-badging method

TBH...MB do badge too much. It's a marketing tool to sell more of the larger engined variants...Ford stopped it many years ago with some models.

    De-badging method

Fun fun fun... Debaging is done for two reasons...because you have the base car and because you have the top car. It's like those people who have "cheap" car and excuse themselves by saying their clients would not like to see them in something flash, and the same reason someone in a flash...

    De-badging method

A nerve has been touched...not sure why...but why boast about a £100k+ purchase of a depreciating asset and not expect a little come back.

Help with Fire Regs building a Loft Extension

Sounds about right...they are mostly concerned with HMO (house of multiple occupation). To bring such a house up to spec we had to rebuild an internal wall from ground to top in 9 inches not the original 4.5 and all doors on to the stairs were fire doors with intumescent strip.

They have a tip system in the event of fire...the fall should blow out the flames.

Help with Fire Regs building a Loft Extension

From the third floor? Anyway...remember the bedtime routine they used to play on TV at night a long time ago? You are right though about open doors...but the regulations cannot account for the public...but they must try.

    N/S number plate bulb/wiring fault

The brown wire is the earth. Remove it, clean it up with sandpaper and replace. Or just run a wire as you have done from the other light.

Help with Fire Regs building a Loft Extension

Fireproof doors. And an enclosed stairwell. Think about it. A fire on the ground floor of an open plan house could be the death sentence to most upstairs. A fire escape to the loft would suffice...but would be expensive and not necessarily aesthetically pleasing. I think you might at the very...

    W210 front wing removal problem

The rusty bit, attached to the bumper, should slide forward and off the bumper. Look under neath the bumper at that point...there should be a flange (bent bit of plastic or something) to push forward. This explains it better...though it is a facelift...

    More Jokes

Sorry...temporary loss of my sense of humour. An English man and an Irish man are driving head on , at night, on a twisty, dark road. Both are driving too fast for the conditions and collide on a sharp bend in the road. To the amazement of both, they are unscathed, though their cars are...

No, I don't believe it is. But I also don't believe the jokes were acceptable either. This is not about humour...those jokes could have been told in a more imaginative way...still been funny...and non offensive.
