Just wondering if the crumbling loom of an m111 is the only harness issue in a w124. I am currently rebuilding my harness with new connections and wires but I am wondering do any other looms in the car suffer with this silly carry on.

I know the general feeling on them but I am looking for good quality ones that clip on and not screw on. They are going to be used to cover up some rust but it will all be treated and sealed fully but I won't have the funds to paint so chrome is my way forward.

Well I am thinking of a c class and my engines are the m104 2.8 or a 230 kompressor. I am wondering about economy as the car will never see a city so country roads and some motorway usage. Is there a big reliability issue with either engines and has anyone used LPG on these motors.
