I sold a 993 C2 just before the values started going up and a Renault 5GT Turbo for buttons. Presumably when I sell my SL 55 that'll be the signal for them to start increasing in value too.

My Dad's just got it on his new laptop. He's 83. I cannot honestly ever see him getting the hang of it, he had only just worked out how to use XP, poor old chap. I thought I was IT literate, but I really could not help him much. Stick with Apple, I say. Microsoft, yuck.

No, i don't think so. The car was on private plates when i bought it. I've posted pics on PH and the "other forum", so maybe that's where you saw it. I think the plate says "KN0B", which tickles me.
