I don't think its worth more than £2k personally, based on the rebuild cost and what it would be worth when its finished.

Hi I'm looking at this car but wondering how to fix the various bodywork issues, especially the front end. Can anyone advise if that front end can be made to fit or will I need a whole load of different parts? Any advice regarding wheels and back end? Thanks!

I have a Dec 2014 E Class and my DAB is useless too - volume keeps changing and sounds like a stuck CD player. Also the Comand audio fadeout does not work even with the option ticked - Merc did an update a couple of days ago due to info on TIPS but it is now worse than before!

Hi, Can anyone point me to a thread about this topic? I have a CLS 2007 with NTG1 Comand. Where do I look for the video in connector - is it in the boot or the back of the Comand head unit? I presume if I can find it, I just buy a Fakra to phono adapter and add a camera. I know it won't switch...

The other thing that the OP should remember is that the 17" alloys on the CLS require different offsets front and rear if fitting 245 45 17 tyres. Genuine merc alloys for the CLS are ET28 front and ET18 rear so the cheap 17" alloys that you found probably aren't right.

I was looking into these as they are a lot on ebay - however these are from the newer C218 and I don't think they will fit a 219 as the offsets are quite different.

I might be willing to sell my set with the tyres - PM me if interested
