I think all the shocks would explode and I'd have to sweep the springs up with a dustpan and brush if I tried anything like that in my Vito :D

Sounds obvious but have you damaged the cable or sensor (or have the new wheels been rubbing) while swopping the wheels?

I have a 113cdi on a 60 plate (facelifted) that drives very nicely with more than enough power (last time it was weighed it was grossing at 2500kg) for what you would need and returns approx. 32mpg in towns and 35-37mpg on a run, you could probably get more out of it if you were funding the fuel...

Just go to the dealer and ask for all the clear engine fuel lines (they will know exactly what you want), I think it cost me £70-80 but its well worth it. I tried seals but the pipes/clips had gone hard/brittle.

+1 Yeah I got some cheap anti roll bar links off ebay and they didn't last 5000 miles before they were knocking again, got some Lemforder ones from ECP and they have been good as gold :)

Yeah my C220 CDI S203 quite often kicks down when resuming its speed too, soon settles down again though.
