Hi all, after a few years away from here after selling my E55, I'm back in one of the comfiest cars I have ever driven. Just purchased a facelift w220 Cdi and love it. Couple of easy niggles to fix and already thinking of a few nice upgrades.

i have a 2001 e320cdi with comand and the cd unit is dead. i know how rare these are but does somebody have a comand unit hidden away with a working cd unit.?

now sold and being exported to malta who'd of thunk it hey.

just a quick one i have just had my fronts replaced and purchased the discs from merc benz chesterfield derbyshire at a cost of £59 per disc... yes they are genuine and yes they are handed and yes they stop like a dream....... nearly bought a spare set :) give them a ring

lol i did do the fit at the pub, but thats only cause i own and run one :), i used the 3m (catpiano) from ebay £19.99 for 1.5m x 3m which i thought was a bargain, its a matt ish textured finish and looks good in the flesh. As for the climate control that is now hidden in the lower cubby hole...

finally bit the bullet and made myself a double din hole on my 1999 e55 amg although the head unit might not be everyones cup of tea it does everything bar boil eggs and the front is detachable so i can use as an android tablet. so after a bit of hack sawing and filler and carbon wrap...
