Well, things change quickly! The w202 saloon suffered a front strut failure last night. As no time to mess just now I quickly dropped on a W203 estate which is now in the drive. Options for this will be much easier :-)

I'm not sure how long I will keep the car but I like them to be right. I've not done this job before but assume once the head is off its a case of removing the cams, shims, buckets, springs etc. Any special tools required? Estimate of how long to complete? Thanks Rob

I have a c36 which I purchased with a suspected head gasket leak. Plan to do this job but need to buy a head gasket and any other seals I will require. Where should I get these from? I hope to get the head off and back on in a long weekend. Any advice welcome. Thanks Rob

What is the output on the MB 10 and 30's and do they need a code to work in another car? I assume this is just a normal code you enter rather something linked to the car on a 97 w202. The hang up with these is if a jack cannot be added for an mp3 player?
