thanks for all the advice. im really torn between a diesel 3 class SE and a c-class manual. (either 3 or 5 door). i really need to try a manual c-class and a diesel 3 class to be honest and take into consideration the potential engine costs too.

i have no preference in regards to diesel or petrol. if the price is right and the spec and mileage is right i will go for it.
