It sounds like a similar issue to mine, It may need a new / refurbed turbo actuator. Mine started off the same, very occasionally losing power - with no EML warning, then gradually got more common and now get the EML a lot! It is due for a new turbo in the new year, I decided it made more sense...

I have just had the front end fitted from a 2010 VITO Sport, this came with Xenon Headlights! I cannot get the lights to work, I have purchased a set of cables frpm a guy in germany that go from non-xenon pre-facelift to facelift xenon, but can't get dipped/main beam to work from the switch...

You will need to give the CD changer a Live, Switched Live and MOST Wake up ( usually on a three pin connector), as well as an optical link to the comand head unit ( if you have no other optical devices this will need to be a loop from the comand to the changer and the back from the changer to...

I believe you need to program the chip directly on the cluster, so that bit needs specialist hardware, unless anyone else knows different.... When the guy did mine he took the cluster into his van, did some stuff then plugged it into the car and Star did the rest...I waited in the van so not...

You could do the second part with your star if you have offline programming enabled, might be best to go to someone that’s done it before though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I changed the cluster in my old Viano to upgrade to the facelift version, you need to get the replacement cluster ‘virginised’ so the car sees it as a new cluster, then program it to the new car, I used a guy in Birmingham, just google mileage correction service..... Sent from my iPhone using...
