Welcome to the forum. The 211 is a fantastic car in my opinion. Luxury, comfort, power, it has it all. It does have some things you need to watch out for though.

How hard are these to change? Is a DIY at home with floor jack/stands possible?

Keep a diary/record of all contact you have made with them. Maybe speak to Citizens Advice before just so you are clear what your rights are. As its a trader, you will have the law on your side.

^as above. You might have the wrong fluid in there. If that's the case, get it drained and refiled with the correct fluid immediately.

Are you sure this meets the MB Spec?

What spec fluid was put back into the box?

Should be just plug and play.
