Yeh i was thinking the same thing, the only reason why i was thinking about it was to try and help the knock but im sure its something that will need changing rather than a quick fix

Looks like Euro car parts have got gulf GX and a Shell oil that meets the requirements with 40% off so probably go with one of them. Now shall i use an engine flush and if so which one? Thanks in advance.

Thanks again everyone for the advice. Hopefully operation oil change is looking like being done this weekend. I will keep u updated on the knocking noise as i plan the take of the rocker cover and have a look sometime soon.
