When i turn the wheel hard over [either direction] the power steering cuts off. If i switch the engine off and leave for a little while then start up again steering is back to normal. What would be the cause of this, any ideas ? Car is a Vaneo with electric steering pump

Hope someone can help me. Have a 2002 Vaneo 1.7 Dci, steering has become very heavy and i suspect the steering pump. having difficulty in sourcing a replacement, have been told by several breakers that a pump off an A170 is a replacement. Can anyone tell me if this is correct or are they trying...

Have a 2002 1.7dci Vaneo. The mileometer etc display has just gone off. Speedo works ok. Seems like an electrical problem, can anyone tell me what to look for. Fuse locations in German Thanks

Had this trouble on a 1.7.kept soaking it for about 3 days with WD 40, injector then came out easily. My problem is actually removing the injectors [ 1 and 2 ] from the vehicle. The heat shield is in the way and i cant see any other altrerative other than removing the turbo and top exhaust box...

Managed to loosen the injectors soaking them with WD40 a few times. The heat shield is preventing me from removing the injectors from the car, looks as though i have to remove the turbo and exhaust top box,to get at the heat shield retaining bolts, is there an easier way?

Hi just bought a Vaneo 1.7 Diesel which was chuffing. Managed to remove the stretch bolt but not sure how to remove the clamp its self. Dont want to force it and damage something. Can some one tell me how to remove the clamp please Thanks
