Have always used Michelins - hard wearing and various chaps in the trade seem to like them. Cosco is doing a deal on them (includes free fitting and valve) but you have to fork out about £25 for membership. Alternatively, try Blackcircles.

I had my sbc reset after seeing the warning light 'Service brake visit workshop'. Apparently, there will be a red warning light if the sbc fails completely. In my case, I was told that the counter had reached the end of its cycle. PCS ('Olly' the man with a triple 'A' rating on this forum)...

The 'Malfx Electrical consumers switched off' message indicates a low battery charge. This should not appear again after a half hour drive. Give this a try first and see if this solves your other problems.

Spot on Marku. Same problem with with my E270 cdi. Not a job for someone with chubby hands - probably have to teach a 10 yr old with small hands to help you.
