The standard tyres on the rear of my car give no protection to the wheels at all but the same tyres (narrower) on the front do give reasonable rim protection. Anyone know why the difference??? I'm confused and cheesed off that the rear runs are so exposed!?!

Performance pack car and when I bought MB pads for it there is a little leaflet in the box warning about SBC braking system safety issues. Is there ANY chance my car has this system or can I just get on with changing the pads without worrying about limb loss and other issues that require MB to fix??

C63 AMG 2009 dash indicator says A5 service due. Mercedes "my service" says B service + brake fluid and plugs as extra when I try to get a quote/book a service. Local Mercedes dealership on-line booking system says A service required but no info on further requirements like plugs or brake...

What car and how old? MX5 bumper repair last week after similar incident as 2 quotes varied hugely. 500 v 380. One argued that he uses genuine mfr spec pairs and laquers and heated booth to avoid filling or replacing bumper. Other argues that can't be done and filler is all that is needed :(

I think it's time the law was changed to allow undertaking as per France. Most of the time it wouldn't make any difference because our roads are so much busier but for that odd occasion where a safe undertake presents itself it shouldn't be a crime IMHO
