Mercedes GLC Clonking and juddering on near full steering lock

Do you mean rigid or ridged!? Another nonsensical post, I'm surprised Deljong hasn't commented! Run-flats will have more rigid side walls that's why you can drive them after a puncture, the theory is that AW tyres are softer and will probably reduce/mask the so called crabbing. Loads of SUV's...

Mercedes GLC Clonking and juddering on near full steering lock

When I had my x3 a couple of years ago I got an x-drive malfunction indication after changing 1 tyre due to a puncture. BMW diagnosed that the other 3 were worn down sufficiently (still over 2mm but I can't remember what) to cause a difference in rolling circumference so advised all 4 to be...

    GLC Towbar

Factory vs aftermarket I've seen posts elsewhere that say that the factory fit tow bar upgrades the cooling and gearbox oil cooler. Is this right, it seems that would be expensive. Looks like I will go down the aftermarket route so I'd be interested if the towing capacity is the same?

    E300 Hybrid

Thanks Mrcdoiglas, great to hear some real life reviews, keep them coming. Must say I'm swaying toward one of these as opposed to a Lexus IS300h. OK the estate almost does it on its. own but the Lexus drivetrain reportedly lets it down.

    E300 Hybrid

Thanks for the pic Mrcd looks great, an AMG Sport? Awaiting a much delayed test drive so might go for it anyhow as no word yet. Only a week in I know, but what mpg are you getting. Don't see the 7 seats as an option on the Estate which is a real shame, anyone know why. No towbar option either?
