When I bought my W213 the oil was nicely full. However, the electronic gauge is so variable, it then periodically complained about high oil level. At service, they took a little out, and it was then fine.

If you really want to see how many miles you have left after the dashboard displays stop showing it, the Mercedes Me app always shows the remaining range on my W213 (iPhone version does anyway). Not much use if you are on your own, but if you really want to know, the passenger can look for you.
