Hi all Flange on the back box is rusty and leaking. Took it to my local power-flow place. Welding on a new flange is a non starter (too rusty) so solution is a new SS backbox and sleeve. Cost a mere £300. A) Does this seem fair B) Anyone used a split flange repair kit or another solution? TIA

Does a 94 SL have one? My car is tucked up in a garage miles away but with 80l unleaded sitting in the tank. Thinking it might be worth the trip if I can easily fuel my 2 more economical cars.
