Doesn't sound right at all. Do you use pre-heat? Mine will refuse to if the battery is below about 10%. I don't think I've ever seen mine below about 6% and that was when the garage had it and I presume they had the doors open or ignition on etc doing 'stuff'.

That's interesting. When did you join the service plan? I was just looking at this today. MB south west are asking £40/m based on one service/year. The 'A' service was £490 including use of a loan car, so on the basis that a 'B' should be more extensive (expensive) it should definitely work...

I was surprised about the starting system too. For the first few months I didn't charge the car so the engine was on /off all the time. It's a bit better now as I can get to work and back on one charge (usually) so don't use the ICE much. I'm not sure about the longevity of these motors but mine...

Well, mine is now in the dealer's waiting for a new starter motor after a malfunction warning. Symptoms were that a malfunction would come up when the engine started (although not every time) and then it would refuse to drop into electric mode again Anybody else had this? Nick.

Hi all. I'm going to need new tyres on the rear soon. I'm quite happy with the ones on there (bridegstone iirc) , but I wondered what others have fitted and would recommend. Thanks .

Hello All - Happy New Year! I knew it would happen eventually – I broke the charging flap. It was my own fault, I closed it but it must not have caught correctly and it popped open as I moved away and I knocked it. The flap broke near to the hinge, so the hinge and bumper are fine. So, I went...

I'm about to look at getting a proper home charger installed. Does anybody have any recommendations (especially around Plymouth) or things I should watch out for? Thanks.

Hi db. Where did you get the extra horses? I wouldn't mind a couple more myself...

Audi driving with a slight engine issue.

Yes, could be something to do with the EGR. I had something similar happen with a Saab I had; breakdown bloke thought it was EGR but it turned out to be an intake hose popped off.

A blown turbo perhaps? Wait for it...

Convinience opening side windows with keyless go.

Hello all, Earlier, I was stood at the passenger door of my '18 C-class waiting for somebody to drive past when the windows opened. I know I can open the windows by pressing the button on the key, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't doing that, besides that opens the sunroof too and that didn't...

Not sure how much a caravan takes, but what I can tell you is that you cannot charge the car and boil a kettle the same time without tripping the 10A RCD! Apart from that, it was fine.

You could try putting the wheel on full lock (both directions) and checking for clearance or better still, get a friend to slowly turn from lock to lock whilst you look (no fingers!). But I would definitely get the tracking checked too. Nick.

I can't seem to get the climate pre-heat to schedule properly from the app, the website or from the car. It doesn't seem to matter what the state of charge is, or even if it is plugged in. When I try to set a time in the car (see pic). I turn to one of the numbers and after a second the car...

I went for a round trip of about 130 miles yesterday and got around 34mpg That was mostly dual carriage way at 70ish just letting the cruise control do its thing and some on smaller roads including one quiet bit in sport mode for a bit of fun. It's not too different from what I would have got...

I've hardly been out of Plymouth since I got it. Plenty of hills and stop-start driving in town really drinks the fuel. :(

That looks good (in both senses). Is that an app you're using? I can't plug mine in at the moment so I'm only getting around 27mpg. I've only done 500 miles; is it likely to change much?
