Hi I had a similar problem on my clk 270. One of the plastic pipes that go to high pressure pump must of had a hole or crack. Change them all. Not that expensive. If they have a tiny hole you get leak back . Mine also started with easy start. Been perfect ever since

If it's when going over a speed hump or uneven road. Anti rollbar bushes . Creaking sound. Mine does it. It's very annoying. Gonna change then in spring. For an ebach set .

High pressure pump seals perished. Same as what happened to mine. Is it wet around pump ?. Does cabin smell of fuel ?

Hi there . I have the same car. I would suggest looking at the high pressure pump at the front top of engine . You will see two clear pipes going into it . They are notorious for cracking. As go brittle. Also. Internal seals on pump leak. Is it wet around that area ?. If it is . You are drawing...

Hi there . Don't no if you have the same issue as my 270 but mine had a diesel leak but only when cold , the seals in the high pressure pump at the front of the engine perish. . Leaks for approximately a minute then the heat plus pressure seal it , changed the pump . An easy job ony 3 bolts plus...

Driven by the cam . It's rite at the front of engine , at the top . Two pipes go in the left hand side .,and high pressure pipe to the rite. Worth checking,

I have same car as you , just replaced the high pressure pump and plastic pipes , took a while to get all the air out, should be self priming. Have you disturbed them at all ?.they are very brittle. Just a thought. Hope youget it sorted soon.

Solved ! Had to replace the high pressure pump , as old one leaking , easy job to do yourself . Gradually got worse as temperature dropped , so bit the bullet and changed it . Now running beautifully and doesn't smell of diesel in car !

Can I ask where abouts that is ? Its so frustrating , its dry as a bone now , untill tomorrow, trouble is as soon as you start it fuel everywhere so very hard to pin point exactly where its from , only deffo no its lower pump
