I would imagine a 230k wouldn't struggle too hard with grip at the strip, even on a quite cold day. It is torquey for what it is, but I don't think the times would be too far off. It might actually put down some better times on a cold day, due to less heat soak. These kompressors don't like heat...

Small update, bought the YAW rate sensor from the breakers, paid less than 30 quid for it and it works like a charm. No more warning lights on and ESP is fully functional, finally.

No, I was referring to the new M3 and M4, which are both turbocharged 3.0 straight six's. GT-R35 is V6 twin turbo. The N/A V8 M3 was the previous one (E9x).

Kinda sad that MB needs a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 to put an I6 turbo in trouble.

Well, I would imagine there has to be an advantage, since all AMG gearboxes made after 2005 onwards have the blue tops. A S/C is a bit too costly for me, so I'm not even considering that, way too much money. But why would the S/C justify the blue tops mod more, compared to the N/A 55?
