The twin air filters on the car are part of the induction manifold, the filter element is in a plastic shroud which forms part of the airflow. I wanted to change from paper to cotton/washable, any easy solution available. I went to the Mercedes specialist in Birmingham but they couldn't help...

Normally at least 7 years, just changed it and he last one had done 230,000 miles, this one is on 38,000 so a few years forecast. :)

I had to get mine changed at a garage/service centre on a car years ago. There was a labour charge for the pads, and one for the discs, fixed price servicing. Had a right argument with them as they were charging me twice for most of it. Took a call to the head office to sort it & get a refund...
