My renewal is coming up and it is looking like I am going to be going with Mercedes Insurance!!!!!! Since when did the dealers become an option????? Have been with LV for years for the C63 and previously the C43 but this year they have rocketed!!!!!

Michelins all the way for the C63, need as much grip as possible as mine will light up just joining the motor way from a slip road. Had Continentals on my old C43 but they were not as good as the Michelins.

I looked at the Brabus page, the B40-600, it looked a tad expensive initially but then when you consider the warranty is not invalidated then it doesn't look such a bad deal!

Thanks for the info Unimog, it is what I thought but wasn't 100%. So once the car is out of warranty (over two years though), putting a map on her to 580BHP is not going to be an issue on the internals.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if there is any difference in the 4Ltr Bi-turbo M177 and M178 engines internally ie is the M178 got stronger internals to allow for the extra BHP or are the internals the same. I realise that the turbos are different. cheers - ferg

I've got the manual as per the link but I have HERMES installed but dont want to use it. When in the connectivity menu as described in the manual, the instructions don't match the menus as there is no "internet settings " menu. So is there another way of doing it?
