Just wondering if anyone can tell me if there is any difference in the 4Ltr Bi-turbo M177 and M178 engines internally ie is the M178 got stronger internals to allow for the extra BHP or are the internals the same. I realise that the turbos are different. cheers - ferg

Quick question to e250 owner's, car was delivered about six weeks ago now and clocked up 1800 miles which has returned 44 mpg. Seems good to me and better than expected considering the engine will still be tight. How does that compare to others?

Well I loved my first Mercedes so much that after just a year I decided to sell my CLS and take the plunge for a brand new e250 cdi AMG. So it was promptly ordered from the brochure and not driven :eek: Never done this before :eek: Well I got her two days ago and I can say I love it :D

And a 1000 miles and very happy with the cls. Only one little issue....... one parking sensor failed but replaced under the warranty. To be fair it could easily have been a stone that damaged it but no issues from the garage about replacing under warranty :D Initial impressions, all good...

This has probably been asked before (but I can't find the answer), but why does my V5 show my car as being a coupe? It is a CLS with four doors? I have always been under the impression that a coupe was a 2 door vehicle. Any ideas? Cheers - ferg
