My dad had a Sud in the '70s and I can still remember the rasp - brings shivers down my spine thinking about it. He later had a Nissan Cherry Europe with the Alfa flat 4 engine after I'd passed my test. A crap car but it made the same fantastic noise with me redlining it.

I don't think you can beat the rasp of a straight 6. It's a big part of the reason I bought mine.

I'm not an expert on satnavs but I've had a Garmin and various OEM in-dash units and the best I've ever had is Google Maps on my iPhone. Simple to use and incredibly effective.

My 300E is suffering recently from various strange electrical issues. This week, I was driving to work in the rain, firstly it started to misfire, then the ABS light came on, the wipers stopped then it cut out and all the electrics were dead. I recovered it to a local garage who still have it...

I need a new radiator for my 300E but there are 2 types listed, with and without aircon. Does anyone know if there is actually a difference? Mine doesn't have aircon but I can only find radiators for cars with it. Thanks
