Hi there, just 2 bolts to undo per side, bottom shock bolt and lower drop link bolt. These were actually the same size and length. Just cleaned the exposed thread with a wire brush then a dowse in WD40 and the nuts came off no problem. Then tapped out lightly with a brass drift to avoid damage...

I don't mess around with aftermarket parts. Go to the dealer for stuff like suspension parts. They are better quality, more likely to fit straight on and often not that much more expensive.

Shorty, I'm with you on this. Surely the idea of the telescopic spring compressor is to avoid removing any bolts on the subframe or the wishbones. My telescopic compressor is due any day now and am hopefully going to try this in conjunction with the pipe under the trolley jack, then a ratchet...

I just wondered if it is worth the extra outlay to get the complete unit including holder rather than just replace the bulb with the festoon unit. I have read great things about Karl's LED's and plan on changing other bulbs using his units in due coarse.
