    Great will do thanks. The indy said it had corroded and had broken. Certainly worth a call to the dealer. Looking at the service sheet the 8.5 litres of Mobil 1 oil was £91.80 on it's own :eek: so I guess factoring in labour and other parts it was a pretty good price. Many thanks Chris.

    Great thanks for the reply. This is my first visit to my local indy since owning the vehicle. Had a 91000 mile c service which included oil and brake fluid change but not gearbox fluid. They have told me amongst other things that there is a gearbox pan seal leak. Is it easy to check the levels...

    Hi there, just 2 bolts to undo per side, bottom shock bolt and lower drop link bolt. These were actually the same size and length. Just cleaned the exposed thread with a wire brush then a dowse in WD40 and the nuts came off no problem. Then tapped out lightly with a brass drift to avoid damage...

    I don't mess around with aftermarket parts. Go to the dealer for stuff like suspension parts. They are better quality, more likely to fit straight on and often not that much more expensive.

    I just wondered if it is worth the extra outlay to get the complete unit including holder rather than just replace the bulb with the festoon unit. I have read great things about Karl's LED's and plan on changing other bulbs using his units in due coarse.
