How do you reset the climate control on c180 2001, if it there is any such thing?

another problem with the c180. basically when I open the door locks with the key fob the bootlid keeps opening. also this happens when I lock the car and sometimes happens when I lock the car from the inside using the in-car switch. what could the problem be coz its so annoying :devil:

my c180 doesn't seem to heat up or blow hot air at all even when the temp has reached 80 on the instrument cluster indicator, what could be the problem for this?

Hi, The EC light on my temperature control unit stays on it doesn't switch off. The merc doesnt seem to heat up either as it keeps blowing cold air guessing because the EC is on, any ideas how I can fix this without having to get a new climate control unit?
