Set the heater to the highest temparature, heater fan on, drive the car to get up to temparature.( you might need to open the windows) Does the heater blow hot? if not you have an air lock. Is this a Mercedes specialist that you are using?

Is it not doing a particle filter regen? 2000 rpm at 50 doesn't sound concerning to me at least He said its a petrol engine. Maybe a gearbox reset which he can do himself in about 10 mins?

I don't like the big screws that MB use on the E Class so mine are fitted using adhesive pads from Halfords. I used the thicker ones to overcome the problem of the raised domes where the screws would go and used 4 pads not two. Been on there for 6 years now

The German emissions sticker is £12. Is it worth risking it by not having one?

My 2015 E class sometimes suffers from the parking brake not releasing easily. When this happens I give the mechanism by the pedal a good dose of silicone spray. Not saying that would solve your problem but I would give it a go

Changed the main battery on my 2015 E350 without any additional operations needed as advised by my MB indy. The worse part was lifting the battery out and the new one in as its very heavy

Surely the car is doing a DPF regeneration?

Thankfully my E350 has not had any problems, but does anyone know if Adblue quality varies between makes. I have only used Redex Adblue as it is a brand of longstanding. Whats this about an anti chrystalising additive? Is this something I should be adding? If so under what brand name?

Unfortunately it seems that Mercedes are now being owned by people who previously had Vauxhalls and visted Halfords a lot. The other day dark tinted windows and now wheel spacers. There is no dignity any more

I use them in hilly areas on my E350 to get engine braking and with the diesel engine it works superbly. Try it in the GLA 200 (1.6 petrol) and its a waste of time, just lots of revs and no engine braking. I love my diesel!:)
